Most wanted Dacoit Azizur Rahman has finally been arrested by Nagaon Police after a long period of search for him on Monday, August 23.
According to police sources, dacoit Azizur Rahman shot a young man named Saiful Islam to death. Since then Azizur was absconding from the police.
Murderer cum Dacoit Azizur Rahman was also involved in many other robberies in Samguri area.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dhruba Bora led an operation against the dacoit and successfully captured the criminal with pistol.
ASP Dhruba Bora and his team have arrested the criminal Azizur Rahman from Kasakhaiti in Samguri.
In another incident that took place in Nalbari on Monday, Dacoit Anwar Hussain surrendered himself to the Police.
Dacoit Hussain has reportedly surrendered himself to the Nalbari SP Jikirani Mahanta on Monday.
Anwar Hussain was involved in various criminal cases along with truck hijacks. He was marked as a "most wanted" criminal by the police since a very long time.
Criminal Anwar Hussain is a resident of Nalbari's Suradi.
