PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Rangia, Kamrup district, observed the 11th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and participation on Friday. The event witnessed the active involvement of 853 students, parents, and teachers, guided by yoga expert Sangeeta Kalita.
The program began with a message from the school’s Principal, Sheshanuj Sarma, who emphasised the importance of yoga for maintaining a healthy body and mind. He urged students to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives for long-term physical and mental well-being.
Sports teacher Syed Tafiq-ul-Islam expressed gratitude to the students, parents, and yoga expert Sangeeta Kalita for their efforts in making the Yoga Day celebrations a grand success. The event served not only as a platform to promote fitness but also to highlight the cultural and holistic significance of yoga among the younger generation.
