Man Found Dead Near Guwahati Lodge, Came for Wife’s Treatment

The body of a man was mysteriously discovered near a lodge in Guwahati’s Six Mile area on Thursday morning.

According to reports, the body was found near Bivash Lodge, close to Gauhati Neurological Research Centre (GNRC) in the city. The identity of the deceased is yet to be established.

Sources informed that the deceased had come to Guwahati for his wife’s medical treatment and was staying at the lodge.

The man’s body was found early in the morning, near the roadside after he stepped out of the lodge. His wife and mother were staying in Room No. 4 of the lodge.

Local police arrived at the scene upon receiving information and launched an investigation into the incident.
