Despite fouling three of his six attempts, Neeraj’s very first throw was enough to keep him ahead of the competition throughout the event. Germany’s Julian Weber came close with a best throw of 87.88 metres, while Brazil’s Mauricio Luiz da Silva finished third with 86.62 metres.

Neeraj took an early lead in the opening round, with Weber and Trinidad and Tobago’s Keshorn Walcott trailing behind. Although there were a few ups and downs in the middle rounds, no one could surpass Neeraj’s powerful first throw.

The final round didn’t see any major changes, and Neeraj wrapped up the evening with a solid effort of 82.89 metres, sealing a confident win.

Up next, Neeraj Chopra will headline the inaugural Neeraj Chopra Classic on July 5. The event was originally scheduled for May 24 but was postponed due to rising cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.
