Teenager Takes His Own Life on His Birthday in Assam's Nagaon

In a heart-wrenching incident, a teenage boy from Assam’s Nagaon district allegedly took his own life on the very day of his birthday on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Jintu Saikia, a resident of Auniati.

Sources informed that Jintu had lost his father around four months ago. Following his father's demise, he had been living alone, as his mother had also distanced herself from him due to personal conflicts.

Lonely and emotionally shattered, Jintu had been struggling to cope with the loss, sources informed.

Local police, including the magistrate, reached the spot soon after being notified and launched an investigation into the incident.
