The teaser of Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer 'Mission Mangal' was released on Tuesday. The teaser has crossed the 1 million views within 5 hours of its release on YouTube.

Thefilm is directed by Jagan Shakti and based the Mangalyaan project launched bythe Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in November 2013. The film alsofeatures Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari and NithyaMenen.

Unveiling the teaser, lead actor Akshay tweeted, "Ek Desh. Ek Sapna. Ek Ithihaas. The true story of India's Space Mission to Mars is here."

The film is scheduled to release on August 15.
