Bollywood music composer Viccky Goswami, who originally hailed from Tezpur, passed away in Mumbai last night. 

Goswami was suffering from stomach cancer.

He stayed in Mumbai for a long time and was the first Assamese to win Zee Cine Award for the background score of Tere Naam. He had his contributions in major projects like Idea Tune, Radio Mirchi Track, Background score in the films like Pa, Dil Maange More, Dil ne Jise Apna Kaha and many more.
