‘Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran’ hits the box office on Friday

Indian historical action drama film 'Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran' has hit the box office on Friday. It has received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.

The film deals with India's second confidential underground nuclear test series at Pokhran, during PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure in 1998.

This film directed by Abhishek Sharma has an ensemble of cast such as John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani among others.

Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh revealing the first-day collection of the film took to twitter and said, "Limited promotions and IPL semi-final hits the biz of #Parmanu on Day 1… Yet, the wonderful word of mouth should help recover lost ground on Sat and Sun… Fri Rs 4.82 cr [1935 screens]. India biz."
