Writer and director Rajkumar Hirani has revealed the reason behind the title of the much speculated biopic 'Sanju' on Wednesday.

In twitter, Hirani unveiled that Sanjay Dutt's mother and legendary actress Nargis Dutt would lovingly call the actor as Sanju.

Along with a poster, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Manisha Koirala, the director wrote, "She lovingly called him Sanju, and now that's what we all do too!

The teasers of the film introducing every character has made the audience excited already about the film which is scheduled to release on June 29.
