Sensation prevailed in Guwahati’s Chandmari area after the body of a man was recovered from an apartment, reports emerged on Wednesday.

As per reports, the body has been recovered from an apartment at Krishna Nagar in Chandmari.

The deceased has been identified as Manjit Singh, sources said. Further, it has been suspected that Singh died by suicide last night. However, the reason for which he choose the heinous step is not known as of now.

Meanwhile, police has launched an investigation into the case.
