PM Urges To Be Careful of Vector-Borne Diseases

Pratidin Bureau

PM Modi today urged citizens to be cautious of tropical and vector-borne diseases. He also appealed to the citizens to take steps to stay safe in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This is the season of tropical and vector-borne diseases. I urge you all to take the right precautions. The Government is also closely monitoring the situation and ensuring care to those affected. Stay safe, be happy!," tweeted the PM.

India this year might face more challenges with respect to vector-borne diseases like dengue.

With the country's health infrastructure already under stress due to the COVID-19 scenario, the onset of vector-borne and tropical diseases would only push things out of the frying pan into the fire.
