More than 19 lakh names out of the total 3.29 crore applicants we left out of the final National Register of Citizens (NRC) that was published today.

According to NRC authorities, 3,11,21,004 people were found eligible for inclusion in the Final NRC leaving out 19,06,657 people. The left out people also included the names of those, who did not submit claims.

It may be mentioned here that a total of 3,30,27,661 people applied through 68,37,660 applications for inclusion in the NRC.
