3 killed in two separate accidents across State

At least three killed in separate road accidents across the State since Wednesday night. Two daily labours were killed at Kasukhal under Cachar, whereas another lost his life in a bike accident at Naphuk in Sonari.

Two daily labours were killed and 8 others injured, many of them seriously, when the dumper in which they were travelling fell into a 100 feet deep gorge in Kasukhal under Cachar. The mishap took place in the wee hours on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Uttam Gowala and Bina Gowala.

On the other hand, an employee of Sarba Siksha office lost his life in a bike accident in Naphuk under Sonari. The accident took place Wednesday night, when the man lost control over his bike (AS-02-S-6201) and died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Sanjib Bora.
