3 members of family killed, thrown into river

In a spine chilling incident, three members of a family that included a women, her husband and toddler were brutally killed in Chaigaon's Gumi on Monday at their home. The murderer not only killed the family mercilessly but dragged the bodies and threw them at  Kolohi river.

The bodies of the women and her husband have been recovered, however the toddlers body is still missing.

The deceased has been identified as Yasir Uddin and Yatan Nessar.

A search operation has been initiated by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in search of the missing toddler.

Police have started investigation of the matter.

Locals of the area are in shock and outrage following the incident.
