The Jorabat police on Friday seized three wood-laden trucks. The trucks have been seized while it was carrying woods from Meghalaya to Jorhat.
According to reports, the recovered woods belonged to one wood-mafia of 13th mile named Bhogeswar Pegu. Pegu was running illegal timber business since long.
The Jorabat police detained Pegu for further investigation.
