4 KMSS protestors detained

Video of a train passing over a burning tyre had made headlines on Tuesday. Pertaining to this act during the 12 hour Assam Bandh called by more than 60 organisations, four KMSS members have been detained in Golaghat.

Allegedly, these four members were involved in violent protests during which tyres were also burnt.

The detained are – Puna Bora, Pranjal Dowerah, Ananta Gogoi and Durlav Tamuli.

These four members have been detained by the Golaghat Police. The incident had taken place in Sarupathar's Khandaguri.

As per reports, these protestors lit fire on the railway tracks when a train was about to pass. Due to this the passenger carrying train had to pass over the burning tyres.
