Massivefire broke out at Jayanagar area in Beltola on Sunday afternoon. According toreports, four shops were gutted in the fire.

It may be stated that property worth several lakhs destroyeddue to the fire. However, no casualties were reported so far.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately after the incident was reported and doused the fire. The reason behind the fire is suspected to be an electric short circuit.
