In a major breakthrough, Jorabat police in collaboration with CRPF on Sunday busted a coal mafia racket and arrested ten persons involved in the illegal transportation of coal in the state.

Police also seized ten trucks filled with coal along with some incriminating documents from their possession.

On the other hand, based on a secret tip-off, thirty nine trucks of coal have been seized in Gosaigaon on Monday morning.

Police have started further investigation.
