AASU stages mass hunger strike

It looks like Assam will not rest until the Citizenship Amendment Bill is dismissed. Protests against the proposed Bill are only getting intense. To protest against the Bill, AASU has staged a hunger strike on Tuesday.

The mass hunger strike is being held at Assam Engineering Institute ground.

State's 28 regional organisations have come together to participate in the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

Artists, writers and intellects have come together for the purpose.

The hunger strike has started from six in the morning and is scheduled to go on till 5 in the evening.
