Abhi-Neel case | Accused ‘threatened to kill’ witness

Four accused in the sensational mob lynching case of Abhi-Neel, had reportedly threatened to kill the key witnesses in the case. As many as 47 accused, including the mastermind, arrested in relation with the case has been produced before the court.

"The accused can interfere with the evidence and influence the witnesses. A case has been registered at the Dokmoka Police Station in this regard" : said Abhi-Neel parents.

It may be mentioned that three out of seventy five eyewitnesses have already changed their statements before the court.  

Earlier, Six eyewitnesses were asked to attend the court on January 5, 2019, but only four of them turned up to record their statements in Nagaon central jail.

The trial of Abhi-Neel case is still pending, however, thefamily members, friends and people of Assam who are still hoping for the finalverdict in this mob lynching case to be in Abhi-Neel's favour.
