After a disappointing Ranji season, the Assam Cricket Association is leaving no stones unturned in its preparations for the Under-23 tournament. It has already called 28 players for a fitness cum selection camp.

All these players will go through rigorous training in the camp to be held in Barsapara Stadium from February 1. The State Under-23 team will be selected from this camp. The players selected for this camp are – Prasanjit Sarkar, Biplab Saikia, Subham Mandal, Mujibur Ali, Rajat Khan, Ashan Ahmed, Sahil Jain, Erick Roy, Sandipal Mazumdar, Abhishek Thakuri (all wk), Dharani Rabha, Santanu Dhar, Hridip Dhar, Mrinmoy Dutta, Anand Sarma, Debakor Johori, Abhinab Choudhury, Kunal Sarma, Abir Chakraborty, Amlanjyoti Das, Hira Chetry, Denish Das, Rahul Singh, Abhilash Gogoi, Nipon Deka, Sidhartha Sharma, Shivam Mittal, Hrishikesh Bora.
