The AGP ministers immediately after reigning, went straight to the AASU head office and laid floral tribute to the martyrs and met the AASU leadership sending a strong signal against the BJP.

The three ministers submitted resignation earlier this evening to the Chief Ministers and drove straight to the AASU office. They were accompanied by MLA Satybrata Kalita and Bhupen Rai.

It was a high drama in the AASU office as all of them were past AASU leaders and Atul Bora was past president also.

The three ministers were Keshab Mahanta, Atul Bora and Phani Bhunan Chauhdury. The AASU adviser Dr Samujjal Kr Bhattacharrya termed the move as a good gesture.
