AGP, Shiv Sena together against Citizenship Amendment Bill

Following a meeting between AGP leaders and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai, Shiv Sena has extended their support to AGP against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016.

Thackeray said "Shiv Sena has always been working for the cause of indigenous people. It is a problem not only for the people of Assam but the country". He also assured that Shiv Sena shall raise voice against the Bill at Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

The delegation comprised of Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, Water Resources Minister Keshab Mahanta, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Phani Bhushan Choudhury along with Ramendra Narayan Kalita, Birendra Prasad Baishya and Kamala Kalita.

The delegation also invited Thackeray to Assam.
