Star Hotels Should be Constructed at Golaghat & Hojai: Ajmal

Pratidin Bureau

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal demanded Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal that a five star and a three star hotel should be constructed at Golaghat and Hojai respectively.

Ajmal had urged the chief minister to come up with the two hotels in the two districts keeping in mind the trade center proposed earlier for the convenience of the businessman.

Ajmal also insisted that the state government should send the Cabinet's decision of flood and erosion as the national problem to the Centre. He also stated that former home minister Rajnath Singh has asked to send the cabinet's decision to the Centre.

Meanwhile, Ajmal while talking about the Triple Talaq bill has criticized the central government. He said that the BJP has taken this step for publicity and that the bill has been passed in order to humiliate the Muslim community. "74% of talaq (divorce) takes place in other community. The Indian Constitution is much advanced that the constitution of other country. I will not accept the Triple Talaq Act," said Ajmal.
