Akhil Gogoi Provided With Financial Aid For Legal Battle

The Khumtai community of Kumalia village on Monday has provided financial contributions for the legal battle of Anti-CAA activist and KMSS chief Akhil Gogoi. 

The contributions have been forwarded to Golaghat Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti President, Satyabrata Saikia, Editor Jyotishman Borah and Supratim Rajkhowa, Dergaon Krikhak Mukti Sangram Samiti President, Ripun Mahanta and Dergaon Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti President, Biplab Bora.

Gogoi was arrested for his involvement in the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act and has been booked for "waging a war against the nation", conspiracy and rioting.
