Another 5 Police Personnel Test COVID-19 +

Five police personnel from Mancachar and Rangia have tested positive for COVID-19. Five persons including 3 police personnel tested positive of the deadly virus in Mancachar.

According to reports, two police from Mancachar police station and one from South Salmara police station are infected with the virus.

The jawans have been identified as Nabir Hussain, Remragum Hajong and Hemen Kumar Das.

On the other hand, a pharmacist has also tested positive of the virus in Mancachar. The pharmacist has been identified as Ujjal Sarkar.

Moreover, a tea-seller in Mancachar who provides tea at the police station also tested positive. The tea-seller has been identified as Sukur Ali who also worked as a health worker.

All the positive patients have been admitted to Hatsingimari civil hospital. The swab samples of all the patients were collected on June 25.

Meanwhile, a police officer and an APTF jawan has tested positive of the virus. Sub-inspector Shyamal Saikia and APTF jawan Narayan Das of Rangia police station have been infected.

Both the personnel will be admitted to Patanjali COVID-19 hospital at Mirza.

The swab samples of 11 people of Rangia police station were collected on June 28.
