Another FIR has been lodged against Assam Coordinatorof National Register of Citizens (NRC), Prateek Hajela, on Friday in Guwahatifor "discrepancies" in the final list.

An organisation named Krishak Sramik Unnayan Parishad(KSUP) has filed a complaint at Dispur Police Station demanding arrest ofHajela. The member of the organisation also threatened to move Supreme Courtagainst Hajela.

It may be mentioned here that over 19 lakh people wereexcluded from the final list of the updated NRC on August 31. The final NRC haddrawn different reactions from various sections of society.

Following the publication of NRC, total three FIRswere lodged against Hajela.
