All Assam Scheduled Caste Students' Union leader, Jadav Das who had staged a naked protest in New Delhi against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill in January of this year has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Jadav Das alleged that the leaders who provoked them to get emotional and to stage the naked protest against CAB in Delhi , were now seen to join hands with Congress.He mainly took the name of Akhil Gogoi and Rubul Das in this regard.

He then mentioned that the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) and 69 other indigenous organizations of Assam stripped naked and covered themselves in banners against the BJP's move to table the Citizenship Bill on January 7.

He also added that recently, former Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) leaders and two Anchalik Committee members also joined the party in less than a week from the first phase of the elections.

According to sources state BJP party president, Ranjeet Kumar Dass welcomed Das into the party.
