Anurag Saikia nominated for Jio Filmfare Awards Marathi

Anurag Saikia of Assam is nominated for the Jio Filmfare Awards (Marathi) 2018 for best background score category for the film Manjha to be held on Sept 27.

Manjha, released on 21 July 2017 is the Marathi language film, directed by Jatin Wagle. Presented by Nittin Keni and Manish Vasisht under MFDC, it is produced by Trilok Malhotra and KR Harish under the banner of India Stories Productions.

Saikia is also one of the youngest composers to be awarded "Rajat Kamal" at the  National Film Award  for Best Non-Feature Film Music Direction for the periodic film Yugadrashta directed by Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta.
