Spokesperson Kamal Kumar Medhi of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Thursday has been appointed as the Chairman of Right to Information (RTI) department of the state committee.

Vivek Tankha, MP and the Chairman, Legal, Human Rights and RTI department of the All India Congress Committee has appointed Medhi today. The information has been furnished by the secretary of All India Congress Committee Vipul Maheshwari.
