APSC scam: No office for Inquiry Commission

Nearly two months have beenpassed, since the Gauhati High Court set up a one-man commission under retiredjustice BK Sharma to inquire into the allegations of anomalies and malpracticesby the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), but the government of Assam ledby Sarbananda Sonowal has not yet provided any offices to the commission.

RTI activist Okram Prasanta Singha on Wednesday revealed that no notices have been served to any of the accused, as there is no office for the commission to function.
