Army busts NSCN (IM) hideout in Manipur

An NSCN (IM) hideout was busted by the Indian Army at Kekru Naga village in Manipur on Friday. As per the sources, a militant of the group was also apprehended by the army, while he was found trying to hide among people in plainclothes.

"In a major blow to the insurgent groups, #IndianArmy troops busted an NSCN(IM) hideout at Kekru Naga Village in Manipur on July 5 resulting in the recovery of large quantities of arms and ammunition," tweeted Indian Army's Eastern Command.

The army also recovered M16 assault rifles with 125 rounds, one SLR rifle with 26 rounds, AK-series rifles and other warlike stores from the hideout.
