Arrested ATM hackers brought to Guwahati

The Assam Police on Saturday brought the two arrestedTurkey nationals from Mumbai to Guwahati for investigating their involvement inthe ATM hacking in the city. They were arrested for stealing crores of rupeesfrom different bank accounts by using ATM cloning devices.

The Turkish hackers were identified as Abdul HalikYurgan and Yura Edgi. They were staying at a hotel in Colaba area of Mumbai.

It may be mentioned here that the duo were involved inhacking more than 50 ATMs in Assam by installing hidden cameras and scanners.The incident came to light after several complaints were lodge in differentpolice stations in the city.
