Arunachal Pradesh | Massive landslide kills five ITBP jawans

In a shocking incident, a massive landslide has claimed lives of five ITBP jawans on the national highway five km away from Likabali.

Reportedly, a huge rock fell on the vehicle in which 20 ITBP jawans had been travelling from Basar in Arunachal Pradesh to Dibrugarh, for training, killing four on the spot and one while on the way to the hospital. The incident had occurred around 2:30 pm.

The injured had been rushed to Likabali Civil Hospital.

Out of the 20 jawans, five have been killed, six are in a critical condition and others have been severely injured.

One of the dead has been identified as Havaldar Dhananjay Yadav and others have not been identified yet.

Those in critical condition and injured have been taken to Delhi with the help of the Indian Army's special helicopter.
