Arunachali wine laden truck seized in Golaghat

In the continuous joint operation carried out by Golaghat police and ExciseDepartment, three illegal Arunachali wine laden truck (NL-01Q-6956),(UP-21B-9717) and (WB-11E2283) had seized in Golaghat on Sunday.

As per reports, the trucks have seized in Golaghat when it was going towards Dimapur from NH 39 of Naharlagun of Arunachal Pradesh. The wine, which has been seized on Sunday, would be worth Rs 50 lakh approximately.

It may be stated that, although Nagaland is a dry state, the wines were carrying to Dimapur in the name of the Security forces. Moreover, the limit of providing the wine to the security forces up to 13000 cartoons in a year, but suspiciously such wines use to go to Dimapur around 10 lakh cartoons in a year.

It has been alleged that Golaghat police were managed earlier with the liquor mafia of Karbi Anglong district, and even now also the same repetition happened.

It should be mention here that, before three days also, three more Arunachali wine laden trucks had seized by the Police and Excise department in Golaghat, which worth was Rs 50 lakh.
