60 candidates from Assam have filed nominations for five Lok sabha seats which will go polling in the second phase.

The scrutiny is scheduled for today.

It may be noted that two of the nomination papers have been rejected and nomination of Lakhimpur Congress candidate Anil Borgohain has been put on hold till today due to technical reasons.
 
Earlier, 45 candidates had filed their nominations for the first phase of five Lok Sabha seats.
