The seven-day wintersession of the Assam Assembly will begin on Thursday.

The proceedings of thefirst day of the session include Oath of Affirmation by the newly electedmembers and Obituary References.

This would be followed by the Question Hour and the Speaker announcing the report of the Business Advisory Committee settling the business for the winter session of the Assembly.

A discussion to commemorate the 150 years of birth anniversary of Nation Mahatma Gandhi will be held on the last day of the session on December 6.
