A shocking incident took place at Assam CM's police barrack on Sunday evening.

A security person was found death inside the police barrack. The policeman, identified as Sukleswar Kathar of 10th APBN.

The jawan was taken to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH). However, MMCH authority confirms his death.

People suspect that the policeman had committed suicide. Though, no suicide note has been recovered yet.

A squad of Police is investigating the case with other possible angles of homicide.

As per sources, the body was found with three rounds of bullet.

CM Sarbananda Sonowal mourns demise of the security person. Sonowal has directed Assam DGP Kuladhar Saikia to investigate the case by a senior police officer.
