Assam Government Includes Additional 2600Cr in the Budget: CLP

The legislature party of Assam Congress on Monday alleged that the Assam government has included an additional expense of Rs. 2600 crore in the budget.

Addressinga press conference here today, the legislative party of Congress said that theBJP-led government in Assam has not given chance to discuss Comptroller andAuditor General (CAG) report in the ongoing monsoon Assam Assembly on Monday. Theparty claims that they want to discuss the CAG report but they have not beengiven a chance in the Assembly for which they left the assembly.

TheCongress wants zero hour discussion on the CAG report. The party also allegedthat the government has interrupted the discussion so that they could covertheir failure.

Theparty further alleged that the government has made extra expense in the budgetwithout the consent of the legislature. It further said that 30,000 crore ofrupees remain untouched and that according to the report of CAG, the budget isfake.
