Assam JMB terrorist arrested in Kolkata

Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist from Assam, Ariful Islam has been arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police on Saturday. He was arrested in connection with the blast in Bodh Gaya in January, 2018.

Notably Ariful is a resident of Panpara area of Assam's Barpeta district. Several suspicious documents and currency notes have been recovered from his possession. Police also informed that he was also involved in fake currency racket.

Meanwhile, a National Investigating Agency (NIA) team is also likely to interrogate the JMB terrorist.
