Assam MLAs, officials embark on Sankalp Yatra

A delegationof the Assam government have embarked on 'Sankalp Yatra' – an eight-day visitto Bangladesh and Myanmar. Starting from June 26, the visit will come to an endon July 04.

It is under the leadership of Transport Minister Chandra MohanPatowary that a delegation of 10 MLAs and 12 government officials will be partof the visit.

Speaking to the media, Patowary said that the Yatra is beingundertaken under the banner of 'Advantage Assam' and that it will benefit theNortheast along with Assam.

The Yatra is also set to bring good results in the field ofindustries, commerce and investment, he added.
