AnAssam Police jawan was found dead over the NH 37 on Tuesday night in Dharamtularea near Kampur. As per the reports, the policeman succumbed to his injuries afterhis vehicle skidded off the road.

Identified as Tulen Das, the jawan of Assam Police Battalion (APBn) was travelling towards his home after completing his duty at the Ambubachi Mela atop Nilachal Hills. He is a resident of Garukhunda area of Kampur.

Meanwhile, several local organizations have expressed their grief over the death of the policeman.
