Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is leading in Majuli as per early trends.

Sonowal won 4,400 votes in the first round while his opponent, Congress's  Rajib Lochan Pegu got 1,619 votes.

Meanwhile, AGP's Sishudhar Doley got 422 votes.
