Assam’s Nishanta Bordoloi appointed as faculty member in BCCI’s National Cricket Academy

The cricketing and sports fraternity of Assam were today in for a moment of inspiring individual achievement as local boy, Nishanta Bordoloi, has been selected as a faculty member at the Board of Cricket For Control In India (BBCI)'s National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Nishanta Bordoloi, a strength and fitness coach by profession is a well known name amongst cricketers and cricket boards/franchisees across the country. His recent assignment was that of the fielding coach for IPL team Kings XI Punjab.

Bordoloi is a qualified 'Strength – Conditioning and Fielding Coach' with over 30 Indian International Cricketers and over 100 first class cricketers in India emphasizing on fitness and fielding.

He is also an England & Wales cricket board qualified level -2 Cricket Coach while also specializing as a fielding Coach.

Nishanta Bordoloi is a former cricket player himself and represented Assam in the Ranji trophy. He has played 35 first-class matches and 29 List-A matches for Assam.
