Assam’s Short Documentary Bags Best Film

Assam's Dhritiman Kakaty and Raktim Hazarika's short documentary film 'The Man Who Speaks Nature' has been awarded the best short film at the International Short Film Festival held in Belgium.

The film festival was held from October 11 at Namur in Europe. 774 films have participated in the festival from across 82 countries in three sections and The Man Who Speaks Nature has been awarded from 42 selected movies.

DhritimanKakaty and Raktim Hazarika's film depicts the life of a nature lover ofKaziranga- Manoj Gogoi who dedicated his life towards the rescue andrehabilitation of wildlife.

The awardhas been conferred on October 19 at the film festival.
