Bandh supporters burn tyres in Maligaon

Supporters of the 24 hours bandh were seen protesting in Guwahati's Maligaon. The protestors burned tyres on the road in protest of the Dhola brutal killings of five innocent souls.

However, the supporters, who burned tyres, fled from the scene after the deed.

Police has detained three youths in suspicion of being the bandh supporters.

Supporters of the bandh are also preventing the movement of autos and rickshaws in Pandu area of Maligaon.

The All Assam Bengali Youth Students' Federation (AABYSF) had called a 24 hours Assam Bandh on November 03 in protest of the Dhola firing incident.
