Six commuters on Wednesday have been severely injured in a road accident at the Assam – Arunachal Pradesh border near Bhalukpong.

The incident occurred due to a head-on collision between a Bolero pickup van and a Cruiser car.

The injured commuters have been admitted to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital.

Meanwhile, an investigation is underway.
