Bhumidhar Barman wants alliance with AIUDF

Pratidin Bureau

Former Chief Minister of Assam Bhumidhar Barman on Monday made a fresh statement to forge an alliance with the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).

"It is now up to both the parties to take the decision. BJP has been effective in raising their vote percentage across Assam, we in the Congress need to make an effort to join hands with other regional political parties." : Barman said.

"Ripun Bora is active, but his team is not supportive. We will have to change our attitude… We need a change from top leaderships to the grassroots' level. Many leaders who are not worth it, are in top position": Barman added.
