Gauhati MP Bijoya Chakravarty on Thursday visited the Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Meghalaya along with Senior Advocate of Gauhati High Court Ashwini Thakur.

During her visit, MP Chakravarty had interactive sessions with all the teaching and non-teaching staff of MGU. Speaking on the occasion, she enlightened them about her teaching experiences in Mangaldai College.

The MP also stressed upon the growing importance of women empowerment during her interaction with the staff of MGU. The MGU authorities expressed their gratitude towards Bijoya Chakravarty for her visit to the university.
