Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) presidentRipun Bora had raised his voice against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB)and the BJP led Central and Assam Government today.

Addressing to media the Congress President Bora said,"We have rejected the meeting with the Central Home Minister Amit Shah. The Governmenthas already decided to implement the bill before and now the Govt have beenperforming just a drama only."

Moreover, he added, "the Govt has been trying to motivate the people by saying that there will be a reformation with the bill but actually it is just fake information because both the Central and Assam Govt has been playing with the emotions of the people of Assam."

"We will try to concern the people of Assam by making a Path Yatra that, the BJP Govt wants to implement the CAB only for the politics of Vote," Bora said.
